Free games tend to be grindy I think, so there's motivation to buy in game currency or item... Not a fan. I like games that come out complete, get a few great DLC and then get left alone. Oblivion for example. Everything has the be always online, monthly updates, community events, platform rewards... It's too much...

Looks good but I'm afraid it'll have PvP problems that I noticed to a small degree even in DL: those that are still there are long time veterans with hundreds of hours of combat experience, and the new ones don't get access because the average level Of PvP is much higher than they can reach in a reasonable time. If there's not enough players on each respective skill levels to make good matchmaking possible, PvP games can be incredibly hard to get into.
And sadly that seen a lot in older or less popular games.

IF the classic wouldn't be classic at all, and be released one of these years instead by the same company and such, with all the fancy graphics of today's games and all it's glory (many more characters, beyond insane massive battles, epic galactic conquest that takes days/weeks to complete, etc)
it would've been better than what EA is desperately trying to put out into the game now to make up for them getting spanked by Disney for their cheeky (greed) blunder screwup with the first game...
plus, unless they add what the classics has and expand on it (means adding even more awesome content besides what the classic games had), it would've been better yes..
but sometimes the classic games will always remain better because devs of games prefer to go the way of the fancy graphics and bad choices (be it for money or something else) rather than awesome content that the people playing their game(s) love so much...
basically, take the classic game, turn it into a modern day game like the new battlefronts (graphics, etc)
move all the fancy looking things and game mechanics from EA's game over to it

I used to as well. Optimization was horrible and it had some bad glitches, like one time dino ownership on the entire server got reset, or you'd get stuck on knocked out dinos so you'd have to kill em, or a raptor would glitch into a dino and deal damage from inside, unreachable. Still enjoyed it, but I couldn't keep up with the massive updates so I stopped. I'd imagine it's better optimized now, and I have a 1080 now so that should do fine.
Ill give it another try once I get back to gaming. It's on my steam so why not.
But I heard the devs are taking a lot of shit for releasing full priced DLC for an EA game, rather than improve it. And with the performance having been as it was when the first DLC came out I can definitely understand the outrage.

I'm a graphics whore and I need my frames as well as multitasking, having Discord, Youtube, OBS, all those things running on secondary and tertiary monitors while I play. Not quite sure what to do now...The Japanese have extremely large troop numbers now after this bullshit brushfire war with the Manchurians. My army can probably defeat them, but it will be a pain in the ass to deploy them. Beyond that, if I deploy them my flanks will be open to a Manchurian counter attack.

Interesting, the boss I killed yesterday was locked in a huge room and forced to constantly fight himself and the floor was full of bodies of himself and he killed a clone of himself when I first arrived and then I had to fight 2 of him at the same time until a third him appeared and started to kill the original him but died and if I killed either one of the clones they would just spawn again and after I killed the actual boss, the blood from all the bodies flew to him and his sword light up and now he was a real motherfucka who had combos of 5 consecutive attacks including a dash the lenght of 1/2 of the room and that's barely how much stamina I have to dodge it all ๐ฏ

they can make ray tracing gpu's like you have ur GTX plug in ray tracing card and thats it like Physx but they wont do it

so the performance hit comes from the fact that when you turn ON RTX the gpu uses only the Tensor cores and the normal cuda cores are doing nothing ๐ค
