I played the first 30 minutes of Arkaham Origins not too long ago, sorta didn't hook me. Felt like a very basic 3rd person platform brawler with okay graphics, didn't really do enough to make it different than assassins creed, shadow of mordor, Mad Max, etc etc

I'm a massive fan of the Nolan movies but what I saw of origins didn't feel anything like it. It felt more like a Burton to me.

Maybe that was because of the skin tight bright Grey latex condom our ridiculously buff batman ran around in, it looked a lot harder to take serious than the Nolan style high tec Black armor and Kevlar pieces.

I completed FC3 several times. It has good story, a complete new engine and tons of cool things to do. Compared to FC2, it's a tremendous leap forward. But when you look at FC4, it seems just like FC3 with refurbished visuals. The story sucked so hard that I didnt even bother finishing it. They just fixed the frustrating stuff about FC3, such as repeating an outpost in case you dont get the best result. There was the arena and the small aircraft. But literally everything was the same. You killed sharks in FC3, now you kill honey badgers. It it was just visual improvements, they didnt even bother messing around with the weapon mechanics...

Ever played Fallout New Vegas with visual mods? I believe it was released in 2008, but it was totally a great game so I wanted to play it with better graphics. I modded it and it was all shiny and beautiful; but the engine was the same. You jump the same, run the same, shoot the same. It's a tough pill to swallow, but new visuals dont make new games. Otherwise people would just keep modding the same games over and over again.

After the failure of FC4, Ubisoft had to realize this the hard way. I hear they made significant changes in FC5, hopefully it was enough to make it a new game.

i think the rain is Nvidia physx enhanced but not fully tho
there are rain enhancement effects dont know how much this option effect the quality
