i remember playing this with like 2-3fps on my very very fist PC and i was blown away

It's my favorite game and I've put in 466 hours over 3 years in a bunch of several day bursts and it's my most played steam game by over 300 hours. The longest burst I spent playing without playing any other games was about 3 weeks, and I've had many times where I've spent 1-3 months without booting it up. Keeping all this in mind I was thoroughly impressed/disappointed by the almost 110 hours I've put into minecraft over the last 3 weeks.

Having done the math I have a bare minimum of 100 days on Minecraft (2400 hours) and it's very likely been a good bit more than that.

They're technically not downgrade. Those trailers / demos are made early on in development for e3 showcase, well before optimizations are done.

After optimizations the gamw doesn't look as good as the early trailers
