26.1

We've started working on updating paper for the upcoming 26.1 release! We're currently in the middle of updating our file-based patches, which have required a bit more effort than normal due to the removal of obfuscation in this version.

26.1 is going to require java 25 in order to run, so updating your server/development environment for that is already a small way you can prepare for the update.

Lastly, this version also marks the removal of the reflection rewriting and runtime remapping of plugins for good, due to obfuscation being removed completely. This change will only affect plugins compiling against obfuscated internals, plugins using Mojang mapped internals will not notice many differences.

Paper is running on 26.1-rc-1 already, we'll likely start applying the feature patches soon
