we have started to get into the groove. This is done on a directory basis, there are 150 directories with patches in total, 18 of which we already applied. That doesn't mean we are 12% done tho, as different directories have different amount of patches.

About 25 out of 150 patch directories have been applied already
https://github.com/PaperMC/Paper/issues/11735
Though it doesn't make for a representable percentage since some packages can have tons of REALLY big classes, other packages have only one or two with barely any conflicts
A slightly more useful number is the how many patches we have applied so far, which now sits at 210 out of about 800 per-file patches (and then still missing the big feature patches)
450 now
we have applied all our pre file patches now, but now we have to painfully go thru every single one again to make sure we didn't introduce any accidental changes. then we can proceed to feature patches.
While that isn't done yet (it's really painful, but important, many issues were already caught), we have fixed all remaining compile issues and are now starting with testing. But remember, feature patches are still missing.
While we're still reviewing the patch diff, we've also started updating some of the large feature patches. Leaf's dataconverter and chunk system are next
