@ancient bolt I recommend using 3rd party accessories for portable devices to make them more ergonomic, also stuff like carpal tunnel can be corrected, I know two people who had surgery which got rid of it for them (not saying its carpal tunnel though)

Ok... that does move the stuff over just fine, but the goal was to change to repo to inside of the folder so that I could add another plugin I'm working on in the same GitHub folder

mkdir ecotalk/.git
mv .git/* ecotalk/.git/.
rm -rf .git
then you can cd in and check git status
however im pretty sure you still need to have an outer git repo to actually push to your github

you cant have a git repo in a git repo unless you use submodules, and for this idea you need that
in which case you need separate repos for each plugin, then you can make a "container" git repo that has submodules for each of your plugin repos
