I have a fun Windows update story. Two hours to install the latest Windows updates for May 2019. Took 45 minutes to install updates, which eventually failed. A 30-minute reboot I had to eventually force-shutdown. A BIOS firmware upgrade awaiting me when upgrading. Install that, then let Windows install more updates. Yay!
Ubuntu update: install the updates (main complication were internet issues) and then reboot. No need to deal with crazy shit like that.
