#Chest artifact bug

Recently(today specifically) I encountered a bug where every chest contains Elder Sign and is a duplocate of the same +2.
This is not intentional, is it?

This is from pacifist route Meatloaf, perstiege 22, no ascension, only boost being the chest tree, thrice transcended
