Turkeys are very hard to catch and are very rare so if you don't have Harvest night dinner pickaxe you probably will be stuck on quest 3 for very Long time

Or use snowball(the downside is that cooldown of this is 5 mins) during harvest dinner pickaxe power, it also can hit multiple mobs if possible.

You can have 5 ability slot in ender shop by the way, and extra ability slot from it is kept on ascend.

Or even 6 slots when bought certain ascension skill tree.

Then I recommend that you collect 10 ender pearls(4th mythical machine helps it, I have 2 of it), and buy "add ability slot" and then "add artifact slot". Note that all ender shop stuff (except trenscendence) kept on ascend. So you'll start with 4 ability slots after ascend if you buy.

Also don't buy "eye of ender pickaxe". It's useless and costly(I bought it and regret)
