But atleast you can do something about it. You can increase the number of scrap which would decrease the number of roof campers. The L96 is a one hit headshot when all weapons take more. We don't have control of official but you can be the change on your server to fix the roof camping issue.

I agree with Naji it is very overpowered. And people want to play with it so removing it wouldn't be the right choice so increasing the scrap cost makes sense. If you are worried people will hate the server why dont you make a poll about and if u see more than 60% of the people agree with us then u can consider that

I get that it's a part of the game but there needs to be some sort of balance. They should introduce a 308 or 7mm round and make it super expensive to craft. Less people willing to just rip random shots at every naked if you make the ammo ridiculously expensive per shot.
At least with a bolty there is bullet drop and it isn't able to accept an 8 x scope (correct me if I'm wrong). Even if it is, it's not as powerful.

When I'm playing - I like playing solo and have the occasional duo partner - when I search for servers I type in "duo" which usually finds the duo and trio servers based on the names of solo/duo/trio - so please don't change it to only "trio"

@shrewd hull Brian probably means have more staff on the servers more throughout the day that way hackers or problems can be handled faster. I've been playing 3x a lot recently and have noticed a lack of staff on at times. I don't know how many times I have seen people ask if any staff are online in chat with a fury of other members saying no. I'm not saying it would be best to an overabundance of staff for servers, but to have some more staff that play at less peak times to be there to help those who are on when staff aren't. It can be very discouraging when you run into a problem in game but no staff are online, there may be staff on discord but when non are on in the game to help, players not in the Discord are out of luck. They just have to submit a ticket through the server chat and just wait for staff to get on and get to their ticket.

We get hundreds of reports a day so it makes it pretty much impossible to instantly handle a report. But once the players send in a report they want something to happen instantly which with servers this size and us having 4 servers its really hard. And too add too that we dont divulge info on bans/mutes/ or any form of punishments so the players dont normally see when action is taken.
We look at every report so it takes time. Specially because we dont want any false punishments to occur so we make sure the action we take is correct.

I get the whole privacy of those who are reported as a thing but you could also do something similar to other games where you reward those players who take the time to help keep the servers clean with reports, like you don't have to provide in-game loot as people may try to abuse the system but even some sort of message to players who report that says "Thank you for your recent reports. Due to your reports, we have taken action on unwelcomed guests." You don't have to make it public or even say the name of the person who got banned that they reported but it gives them a little piece of mind knowing their reports were handled and from a player perspective it makes you feel good knowing you helped even that little bit.

@olive stream Okay, how about you try running multiple websites, alongside multiple servers in your own spare time while trying to deal with real life issues. Also, Rust is probably the most toxic game on the Steam market. You need to learn how to cope with people being toxic, that's Rust for you. Also, people with L96 and AK's probably are quite good at the game. You know what, you literally can have 200 hours, hit your shots, do loot runs, and within an hour you can have yourself an AK. Skill. That's all it requires and it also requires knowledge which you clearly have not obtained either, ever. Don't start talking shit to Killa. He works hard for this community to thrive and he's doing a great job at it. So what the server lags? It's still the most advanced community on Rust with its countless addons and the countless amounts of hours Killa puts into his work. Killa isn't rich, he can't run servers like Rustafied or Rusty Moose, therefore he sell the donator kits and the skip queue options to be able to improve his server, not to just gain money to go throw away on gambling like other server owners do. Killa actually cares for his server and tries his best to keep it going. Look at a few months ago, in October/November of 2018 his servers usually had like 50 players on wipe day, now that Killa actually started making updates not like other server owners just leaving their servers in the dust, he started working hard and started to look out for his server. Now, he has to increase queue size literally every wipe day due to the amount of people that join and he can successfully own 4 fucking servers and multiple websites. Now get the fuck off of @eager sedge 's back and go play some fucking Rust without whining about how toxic it is and how the server lags ungrateful swine.

2. Each vending machine would have to have a ID that shows on the map
3. Each ID would have to be stored for that vending machine
4. Player would have to hover over it to get the ID

6. Networking issues as vending machines only have a small range on them
7. If its even possible to bypass that networking issue then it might be possible

I was on a server that had a home recycler. Its pretty much a research table skinned as a recycler that you can find in air drops elite, crates, etc... you can place it anywhere you have building privilege but you cant pick it up. It was really convenient especially on a high population server. It seems kinda op but maybe you can do a test run of it and see how it goes.

@fathom dawn sorry for the late response, killa is a busy dude doesnt always see every message so idk if he messaged you or anything but we keep an eye out for hackers yeah. if its obvious, to us with our tools not just to everyone screaming in chat, theyll be banned immediately then gamebanned a bit after that usually like 1-2 days since killa can report them directly to the devs via a server owners discord. sometimes they may not be banned immediately, because sometimes it seems like someones hacking but they arent. we wont ban unless we're sure, but suspected hackers get reported aswell to have their accounts scanned. so sometimes a hacker may run around for a bit, but the server wipes weekly and theyre getting a permanent ban from every server, so i mean we win even if they do some damage lol

Make a Trio Monthly Server without /trade. I play on a server like this now called LucidGaming, but its EU, and kind of shit admins/system(thing that runs the server idk what its called) It gets ddosed alot, but it still manages to have a que almost every day with 200 pop.

I just joined the cluster of servers yesterday, straight into the 3x. In my opinion the group size is too big for 3x and it should wipe on a friday or thursday.

As you can see, the populations of both Monday Trio and Thursday Trio drop off significantly after the first 3 days post wipe. While this is expected with any server, the numbers are irregular and you can see the servers losing 75% of their population once the other server wipes. This leads to boring game play on the Thursday trio when Monday trio wipes and vice versa. A very simple way to fix this issue would be to merge the two servers together. This would lead to a thriving player base, constant near full population, and more dedicated (these people tend to donate) players.
