It says that you can't drop it? Does this mean that the components inside don't drop if you kill someone?
I would assume the addition of the box is to primarily overcome the loss of inventory space when they added components. That was my biggest concern when they introduced components is that there was still no way to increase inventory space like backpacks or something, so if you do still drop components but the box just serves as extra inventory space than that would make perfect sense

The only thing that can not be done are non-KOS agreements, as that can cause an issue with people counter raiding or getting in fights then seeing that it is the person they agreed to not kill then working together. You can give stuff away, doesnt mean they wont use it on you. Its part of the game and rules, but being a friendly person and giving to the poor people of the server is better than despawning it and being a douche in my opinion.

It's mainly an issue with too many groups plus the grind is pretty rough. If you ask me, the easiest way to run the server would be have 3-6 people. Then have 1 person constantly farm at some point and not keep anything. That or just chainsaw an entire forest down... that's what I did

Since the XP server died so fast, maybe reducing the xp needed for leveling and then weekly wipes. The server is super fun but it ends up playing like a no BP server with a slow start.
I dont personally mind but I feel that most people have ended up comparing it to a server like Upsurge 3x no bp where they dont need to grind at all and have massively increased gather rates and component tables, and so they are getting bored with the grind to get to the same point in game.
For me the best part of both of these servers is the ability to random spawn, and in a short amount of road farming have the ability to craft various weapons and start messing with other players. Dont get me wrong, I love and appreciate all of the QoL changes, but I think for the most casual players it comes down to the amount of fun they have each time they play on the server.
The way it is now requires a lot of grinding to get to a point where you have roadsign kit with sar, and again while I dont personally have a problem with it, I think that the more casual players (the ones you need to fill the server pop and make it sustainable) dont have the time or effort to put in that grind, and an hour a day over 2 weeks may not be enough for them to even reach that point. Let alone for them to get to that early enough to have fun in that way, especially if you are a person who cannot commit to a full week of rust every week, some people only play 1 wipe a month before they get bored and play other games until they come back.
Another suggestion for this maybe would be to add a monthly progression to go alongside a weekly xp progression, to reward players who dedicated multiple weeks in a force wipe cycle. Some servers have Z-levels, where you get more efficiency on collecting and farming resources. I know this server has efficiency but it isnt an incredible change to the amount gained. Maybe if your levels all started at base rates, and then if it was made so that the players that are farming the most after a couple full weeks have it up to twice base, or 1.5 if 2x is too much. I dont think those are gonna be the final balanced numbers by any mean, just an example of an overarching progression to augment the xp system if you were to up the xp rate and wipe it weekly.

The real thing I like about the server is that you can do a trash pile run anywhere and if you die you still make it out with xp which is really nice because instead of dying and getting nothing out of the time you spent farming.

yeah i get that, just weird that the other walls are gone. I think its because when you destroy the TC it consumes 24hrs worth of mats to prevent decay, im guessing because i built the walls after the TC was destroyed they werent covered and just decayed.
Found the dev blog, thats exactly what happened. "Building blocks that are added after the cupboard was destroyed will decay normally."
