Cable management would go a long way here. Some backdrop or even a hook on the side wall for your headset.

You can get cable management tools that help. My favorite have been Legrand brand cable hiders. They open up, stuff the cords in, and close up tight. They can come in multiple colors to match your desk and they would look like part of the desk while hiding all your cords.

If youre going for big bang you could fit another monitor in there and get a dual monitor desk stand to attach to the back of the desk. Get rid of the riser or have it be for a better use.
