@plucky zephyr if your planning to go professional this would be great for it, and if u do getting into streaming also, as you can have your comp drop map on one monitor discord and spotify on one, obs and stream chat on one great setup

Listen a threadripper is used for a “work space” pc in my opinion you should buy a completely different pc for your work station instead of throwing out ur gaming one so you can still enjoy games (even your own games)
