There are a lot of factors that come into play for RAM speed. Dual channel, rated speed on the RAM, how the memory chips are layer out on the RAM (dual side vs single side). Unfortunately I am not a professional so I can't tell you how to figure these things out or how much of a difference they make. I only know they exist and can effect the speed.
