-There is no limit to the number of threads you can create in a server.
-Servers have channel limits which could potentially break the operation of a bot if the guild has reached their limit.
-Threads accomplish what’s needed to identify who is playing who. Which is a significant improvement to only using #chat to organize players in V1.
-Threads can be named anything which allows us to add caps and characters not normally accepted in the title of #channels.
Players don’t need privacy to say they won or lost.
Players however do need privacy if they have a dispute which creates a channel if that occurs
