Not sure if this is the true solution, but the amount of notifications you can get is pretty insane and any way to cut down on it would be appreciated by me and my team.

Another suggestion would be a "Tourney Creator" role. Then whoever creates the tourney gets the "Tourney Admin" role for the duration of the tourney. This is an easier fix, but it only works if you're running one tourney at a time.
