Anyway of the pokemon here's my opinions on who could be cut or not:

Pikachu: lol
Jigglypuff: From a pokemon stand point this should be cut, but from a smash standpoint Jigglypuff is one of the original 12 which makes me not what to cut her.
Mewtwo: I could see mewtwo being cut seeing as he already had been cut at one time, but I would rather see him stick around
Pichu: lol (for the opposite reason as pika)
Pokemon trainer: I hope this one never gets cut again because it's such a cool character. But I could see them pulling a smash 4 and cutting squirtle and ivysaur and making charizard a solo character again
Lucario: too popular to be cut imo
Greninja: Same thing as Lucario
Incineroar: Definitely could be cut now that gen 7 is over. I don't see really any reason to keep him other than the fact that his moveset is awesome
