Palworld doesn’t copy Pokemon. All it does is follow the artstyle to a tee and turns normal Pokemon into original characters.
Also, Pocket Pair does not copy other developers, especially the creators of Hollow Knight. All they do is take inspiration to make high quality slop.

Given how deliberately almost similar but never exactly the same the models look, I doubt that specific claim
You don't just have everything get similar proportions but not the same details multiple times like that just by AI generation; quality should differ a fair bit more than that even if they cherry picked the best of the best
That being said, their reputation from the development of past games does not paint them as a good company
