If you haven't gotten it to run at all, Which download and what system specs do you have? using your run / search bar in start menu you can run dxdiag to know for sure which type of OS you have (For windows at least)
Maybe the bit version, or, actually, Does it give you any error at all?

i dont get no error it just crashes and dosent start. also thx.

the first that comes to mind would be
A) the bit version being potentially incompatible
B) specs being potentially incompatible
C) ... well no not that one, you said never ran it. uhhh. Maybe download corrupted / got prevented from completion, or profile permissions, could impact its ability to run proper - Might be able to bypass this one by getting Itchio's app and using it like steam and downloading the game through that

D) if the computer hasn't had many programs installed yet, not many games played, then there's some common utilities that should be gotten and I think Dasius had a Common issues post in the community posts on itch that directed for common encounters / utilities.

ok, so i have a question can you send me the link to the download for the itch.io app and also i have downloaded multiple other games from itch.io and can play them bu they use unity your game uses unreal engin so that could also pose as a problem.

https://itch.io/app ended up googling for it cause I wasn't sure where it was located on the home page.. I guess maybe it might be prominent when you log in and my browser's no longer automatic login for it, different browser rather really.

The game is indeed still being developed. Development on versions using Unreal Engine 4 (which is the engine used for the itch version too) slowed / broke cause of code non-cooperation
Recently its undergone a code rebuild on UE5 - Either way, the listing on Steam store is currently Early access. - Just a matter of streamlined updates and version branching.

The game should still be purchaseable Thonk if its not thats a Dasius question.
its public steam EA, base version being 0.1.2.049, with branches for 0.1.2.035, 0.1.2.054 (recommend update from 049) 0.2.5.0 (unstable UE5 rebuild currently being picked at try and catch most of the issues before content focus)
and Itchio's version was the last free version before it went to steam, before it went to steam, certain criteria did impart a key for the game on steam, as they already supported it, That's largely been dialed back and down by this point.

Dev yt channel would be a Dasius question, or maybe one of the other mods, I do not personally keep track of that kinda stuff, I think many times one of the other mods offers up vids
