Hi!

I've been trying to get a shiny cyndaquil in heartgold using the pokemonrng website, a modded new 3DS with alt settings and a real European HeartGold cartridge

I thought I was using the right setup as I got a shiny chikorita in about 15mn but I've been trying for an hour with cyndaquil and it just doesn't shine

I've gotten what looks like the right timing with zero offset, the right nature but not shiny

I know the screenshot isn't very descriptive but that's the only one I took

I also tried 2 different goal pokemon and got an offset of zero for both and neither was shiny

If you hit the right seed but it wasn’t shiny, your SID is wrong. There is no other explanation.

I guess but I got the SID right from the save file through pksm and it worked right before for chikorita
