#Inconsistent target seconds in JP SS on dsi
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
i never did rng on dsi yet
only on old ds, it worked perfectly until now
maybe @thick anchor
I have not done much rng on dsi I’m afraid
But the seconds should be relatively consistent; at least on original cartridge
There’s not really much you can do that I know of other than either always trying to go for 54 or always trying to go for 55; depending on what makes you hit your actual target more often
ik
Show us pictures of your eon timer and seed to time
You’re most likely getting false positives; for HGSS the calibrated delay should be around 490, not 600
Set it to 490, put your actual roamers locations into the fields top right and save the game and then increase the delay +/- in the bottom section to 100 for both
The calibrated delay as I said; there’s only 1 single field called calibrated delay and it’s in eon timer.
The delay +/- in the bottom section of seed to time
Once you try again tell me what seed to time shows you you hit
Bon Appetit
is consistent now?
if you are really really close and you are always getting off by the same amount over and over again then yes
doing manually -+ the delay is fine
sounds like you are about to get it 😄
GL
ah
your target is 1904?
then you are not going to get it
you need to the switch
the delay works as odd or even for delay because it always works by 2
to change it you need to do: +-1 on year
or
if you dont want to deal with your current setup and change the year
ofc gen 3 game is not an option for dsi
for hgss yes
so keep your current setup, just try the down and up thing and that should make the switch on your delay
the odd/even thing yeah
You got this 😄
❤️
nice m8
Using chatots is the best way to execute advances
They need to know chatter and teach them a good sound
ah
isnt -1?
then try same advance
were you able to do it?
Starter?
Advances are a bit inconsistent iirc
Starter
Chimchar
Piplup
Starters
?
It's not a starter xD
Lead?
What are you rnging?
Starters?
Are you able to export your save file?
Just to try on desmume and see what happens exactly
Nice
epic :)
