Try looking at the files of hk. I think that all the rooms are numbered, so just scroll down to the bottom and subtract 1 or 2 from the last room number since they include the main menu as a room

It's stable, on the installer, and at a state where you can pvp your friend and see their movements, but you aren't fighting the same enemies, and unlikely to be further updated

if it is a charm it simply has to be one notch but still not ideal, i'd like the idea of a very cool platforming challenge that requires clever use of all your other movement abilities in order to get it that'd be dope

i love the kings pass so far tho, the only thing i think could markedly improve hollow knight is just more focus on the honestly under utilised platforming aspect, some of the highlights of the entire game are pulling off super tight n fluid jumps but once you've done it you've done it n thats that

Yeah, the platforming is in limited optional sections and then it's a big skill jump to White Palace, and an even bigger one to pop

Like the map becomes trivial to navigate, and then they throw the worst platforming at you when you've gotten out of practice platforming

i had a thought
what if there was a mod where either a charm or just part of the character was a shield and what it did was it cancelled all spells and replaced them with abilities and movements with the shield (at least one spell would have to become a block that can be aimed by having the block face the mouse focus would be easiest to replace and it makes the most sense in my head) since desolate dive and the first spell (i forget its name) are required to progress maybe use the shield for variations or movements that can allow you to do what those spells do without actually using a spell like i have a possibility for what desolate dive would be with the shield maybe the hollow knight uses immense strength jumps and then smashes the ground with his shield i think this charm wouldn't use soul however the abilities would have a recharge time

and maybe other charms could have a really interesting combo with it like maybe quick slash would slightly lower the recharge time using shield abilities or maybe soul based charms would give bonuses to shield abilities oh and if you use grubberfly's elegy as a joke you could possibly turn the nail into the master sword and the shield into the hylian shield from legend of zelda dream wielder and dream shield could also make it so the shield become the dream shield and dream nail (maybe even doing spell damage) thorns of agony would make the shield proc thorns but make the shield abilities and (however a block is incorporated) have a longer recharge steady body would allow you to block more than one attack at a time charm notch requirement goes up to 2 or 3 tho shape of unn allows you to move while blocking spore shroom would probably activate a small area of spores around the user that wouldn't do damage and the spores would burst out to cover the normal amount of space when someone hits the shield while blocking allowing the spores to do damage defenders crest would make the spore area around the use do damage without blocking when combined both abilities are upgraded the defenders crest area has a slightly larger damage radius and the spore shroom cloud would do more damage

for fury of the fallen when at one health the block would become a parry and would stop melee enemies from attacking while sending projectiles back (the attack from mantis petra would just despawn while doing damage to the petra and the attack from fungoon would be sent outwards to the sides and back up this probably also counts for the normal block and oomas would be sent back and they would explode on the other side of the room from where they where parried nail upgrades would also probably upgrade the shield though i don't know exactly how maybe they won't though. sadly i can't actually make this mod if anyone does wanna make it please tell me about it and your ideas i would like to hear about other ideas for how the charm interactions would work thanks!
