it has been removed in favor of another system

there will be predetermined skins that are installed with multiplayer, and you will get to choose 1 to play as. that is why it loads much quicker now

I think that it should be an option for the server to allow custom skins, and an option for the client to receive skins(to fix the problems for some people)

I think another option could simply be, allow players to add skins to the predetermined set of skins. Then if two players both have the same skin added, they can see it, but others would just see default.

If you mean assigning different players different skins for each client, I think that is a good idea. If you mean checking if each client has the same skin, that is pointless because the whole point of this is to make it unnecessary to download skins from other clients, and to check if 2 are the same, they would both need to be downloaded by the server or 1 would need to be downloaded by 1 client.

Server sends a packet containing the name of the skin, client decides, whether it has that skin. If so, applies it. If not, uses default.

Of course, in a large server, it doesn't really matter if one client has a skin with the same name, but different textures to another client. In a small server with a couple people, it wouldn't be hard at all to just, coordinate to make sure nobody has duplicate named skins.

I think the name "Ghost of Hallownest" would be pretty nice given there's a hornet mod known as Daughter of Hallownest and hornet at kingdoms edge refers to the knight as Ghost of Hallownest

also this isn't really a criticism, more of a suggestion but i think opening his bullet hell phase up to nail attacks could create a nice risk/reward system where if you're confident in dodging the fireballs you could sneak a few extra hits in

i'd suggest decreasing the health a bit and maybe making it so that inferno king grimm doesn't teleport during every attack in the second phase, to make it a bit harder to predict (for example during fire pillars it might not teleport)
i really love this mod and will actually give it a try because it looks doable and fun with new exciting attacks, while sticking to the spirit of the original fight and keeping the original theme
animations are good too, the subtle color change telegraphs the new attacks well
overall great job on your first mod, i'll definitely try it out when it's released!

Thanks, will give it a go when works ends. That pufferfish redesign and the dive after flame pillars is really cool. It looks a bit more challenging while still being pretty accessible.

I don't think so. Pretty sure all attacks don't work during that phase, but haven't fully tested all attacks on it

@rose tartan so that Grimm is pretty good. I'm not sure how hard you want it to be but I suggest doubling his HP. That way you get 2 of each Bullet hell phases per change. I dunno maybe that will make it way too hard though. It's pretty good though. Took me about 20 mins to radiant nail only. Dive makes the fight much easier cos the bullet hell is much easier.

The bullet hell bit can be a bit iffy sometimes. Like the way the fire balls home to the player isn't consistent 100% of the time. Also the over lap after the bullet hell phase is a bit annoying when trying nail only as he can do a new attack while the last bullets are on screen meaning you need to drive to not get hit
