What id love is if they made it so you could iníciate a battle as a trainer and then send out your Pokémon as fully controlable. Similar to poken tournament. Then you could have basic fighting actions like hitting jumping guarding dashing and all (based on individual Pokémon) and then the dpad would be assigned to your four special moves like surf or flamethrower. Then when you are ready to throw a poke ball you’d have a slow mow thing like in breath of the wild to focus on your Pokémon. You could also attempt a capture without the battle.
