Well, if you want some examples, then I would say

• Proper balance (don't give the boss to much health or damage, make sure its appropriate for the time you encounter it)
• Lack of artificial difficulty (things like unavoidable attacks or one-shots)
• Avoid annoying gimmicks if they don't fit the fight (for example, a swordfighter shouldn't be floating around at the corner of the screen)

Notice all of these things are just things to avoid, they aren't the only examples of things to not do but largely as long as you avoid bad decisions a boss will be good

-have bosses teleporting around the entire time

-give bosses offscreen attacks

-do not artificially increase the difficulty (all radiant bosses are bs)
-give the bosses a raise in difficulty that is fun

Fourth Chorus improvements I came up with:
-Uses two hands at once, with the following combinations:
•vertically & horizontally
•vertically & vertically
•horizontally & horizontally
•all four arms attack the ground vertically, and the main body of the chorus slams on the center of the arena

Also make the floor respawn faster, and put spikes instead of lava. That allows for quicker and more attacks to be challenging, but not unbalanced.
The fourth chorus should also get three phases. The first one is relatively short, and just the normal chorus. The second one goes on for long, being the main part of the bossfight. The last one is very hard, but also very short, similar to cogwork dancer's last phase (before there is only one).
In the last phase, the chorus would consistently attack with all its hands, but only one at a time. They shortly before one attack ends, another one starts immeadiately. This entire time, the fourth chorus leaks silkflies, the head hanging a bit lower than usual, but higher than when staggered.

Ballador actually wanted the best for the pilgrims, even after learning of their cursed duty. Besides of Ballador and Romino, we know there were at least two/three other conductors. We find one helmet part at Pharloom's exit, and another in the Whiteward, which the Unravelled uses. The third might be the statue, who was probably the first conductor ever. The robot statues were also made in the same time as Pious Isamor, so they are definitely ancient.
