the important part is that if she just died, her control over the silk would cease and the void wouldnt get to the bugs
but she stayed alive in order to protect her daughter (lace) which is why hornet has to save lost lace in order for gms to give up control

Is it just me or is high halls just an odd area in terms of the other citadel ones, the others have a very defined trait (except grand gate kinda but let's be real grand gate barely counts), where as high halls is just. 3 new enemies. And water. It feels like choral chambers otherwise
