3. i do not deny that the reaper pogo has its strengths, but for me, those strengths (wide hitbox making for ease of use) arent worth all that much since they can just be replaced with precise gameplay, while slower pogo speed cant. x frame windup will always be x frame windup no matter how good you are, but a wider hitbox isnt necessary if youre already hitting all your pogos (yes you can multihit with it kind of but thats too niche for me to really consider it as a significant strength)

Speed matters more when fighting obviously.

If you are already good at platforming, this won't be a meaningful strength for you, but some people aren't and it will be meaningful for them.

Using Threadstorm isn’t as punishing as trying to use witch crest heal. When I’m low, I feel awful that I have to run into the bosses face and hope my heal doesn’t get cancelled.

You have two options, 1. let yourself get sucked up, attack while inside to gain soul, heal it off, repeat. 2. Stay in the water and dodge everything, picking your moments to get a hit in

I tend to always do that regardless of the boss for this reason. Plus generally bosses will move towards you to keep attacking (duh) so I see it as I have them on a leash and they will chase me if they can. So I go where I want to fight them. That simple.
