It got an entire treehouse live presentation and demo, it got an Edge Magazine issue, it got a trailer specifically to announce it'd be a Game Pass launch title, it's getting an ACMI exhibit, it's about to get another demo, it's been nominated for most anticipated game on a number of occasions and even won before, it's been used by Keighley as a running joke to promote his events, it was used to promote the Ally.

The only time you could say it was treated as a small, niche indie game is in the switch 2 direct.
