It's always kinda annoyed me how the world looks so much less alive than the original, it might just be me, but all the floating boxes and weird shit all over the place feels a little like it was shoved in without considering how it fit in in the rest of the world. I personally love Breath of the Wild's world and map, it feels like a real lived in world. Tears of the Kingdom certainly does too, but I think it's alot more focused on "hey put this shit in because it's cool" than "hey put this in because it's cool and it adds to the world" I do still like the extra content Tears of the Kingdom adds and all in all I do like Tears of the Kingdom but this really bothers me. I love large open world maps but they feel a lot less cool when there are floating boxes and janky ugly islands and tattoo things all over the place.
