the mod manager installs the API which loads whichever mods the mod manager enables / disables.

so you only have to open the mod manager when you want to enable / disable / install mods

hey, sorry to ask for help again, the game doesn't handle my use of it very well i guess. the folks over at /help told me you might be able to help more here even if it's not technically mod-related

could anyone explain how to edit a savefile? i had a major bug, which is going to completely screw me over for the achievement i'm going for (112% steel soul). when i went to see the seer, i had already collected roughly 800 essence, so i talk to her, she tells me i got 200 and opens the door. so i speak to her again to hopefully get my next reward,and suddenly she's congratulating me, saying i have nothing left to do but to collect 2400 essence. skipped right through all the rewards. so now i won't get my final mask and vessel, i can't get the lifeblood charm either since i don't have enough masks, can't get dream wielder, can't get the final nail form since i'm missing a piece of pale ore... you get the idea. i'm screwed over and i'm most certainly not going through another steel soul playthrough for that damn achievement. so i'd like to edit the save files to add the stuff i'm missing that the debug mod can't provide (like the mask and vessel shard, etc). is there a guide anywhere, or someone who can help? thanks a lot

So for some reason, my save files are loading infinitely. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I have tried verifying the integrity of the game file, I have restarted my computer. It works unmodded, so it must be one of the mods, but at this point I have tried uninstalling all of the mods I don't need and the only ones left to try are the ones I do need.

This is where steam says my hollow knight installation is located and it's the same as the path I gave to the installer

I deleted my mods to check if the path is correct, the mod installer is installing the mods.

So it is finding the correct path

I tested the game, everything is alright. What is strange to me though is that deleting the appdata only deleted 3 out of the 5 save files. Shouldn't that have deleted all the save files?
