I have a question. I recently switched from playing on the switch to playing on the PC. I used a save editor to bring my progress to the same place. However now I'm having an issue that when I collect a vessel fragment, it freezes in the animation. Any ideas how to undo this?

if your save is messed up, copying them won't fix it.

you can copy saves though by copying the userX.dat files

if you want to fix your nail dmg, you'll have to either edit your save, or reinstall debug and press dmg up until it's back to normal

and you can delete bad keybinds you may have made by deleting the settings file for debug where your save files are at

@viral shell nail damage is stored in your save, so it will be the same if you changed it even without mods. You can now either save edit it to 21(the fully upgraded nail) or use debug again to decrease it to 21

For only installing the skin

#

For installing all of silksoon you need to copy everything in the hollow_knight_Data folder in the extracted folder to the hollow_knight_Data in your game files folder

Then press replace when asked

#

Then go into the mod installer and disable one of the modcommons

Question, in the 3.0 Randomizer (items and room), what does turning on the grub, map, and whispering root alterations change? Like for the map one, does that make Cornifer sell random items instead of maps?

Same with the stag alteration but I have a basic idea of what it does

@red apex Pain of path allows you to do PoP backwards, for redoing PoP you can just use QoL and benchwarp in WP whenever you want ig
Also debug to noclip in the wall if you don't wanna use QoL tamershrug

@runic ferry Yeah it randomizes those items, like at grub locations there will be an item check instead of a grub
Room randomizer makes every room random and area, well areas
Items are automatically randomized if you pick room randomizer or area randomizer btw

You can change all the settings in the first screen anyway, if you don't want some stuff to get randomized

area rando: each area is vanilla, but connections to other areas are randomized
connected area room rando: area connections are vanilla, but rooms within each sub area are randomized

@lucid jungle go to your saves path and delete all files with debug.globalsettings in their name

@raw wolf should be fine. If you get other mods that edit your save data, then you won’t. But just hp bars is fine

The save files are user1.dat user2.dat user3.dat and user4.dat

#

The number is the save slot number

#

Copy it to another location

#

Now when you want to go back, you put it back in the original location and replace the one the is currently there
