The modder won't install it says that it could not extract "T" from the Unarchiver. @vernal gorge I might be wrong but I think the fix for your problem (I've seen similar problems fixed this way) is to go into your Hollow Knight saves folder and delete all files that have api.globalsettings in their name. See if that helps.

@trim turret I've never moved my Hollow Knight directory before so take this with a grain of salt, but I believe that the "Change Default Install Path" button is for that purpose.

@vale valve Have you tried watching a Youtube tutorial? (Maybe ask in the speedrunning channels? Your issue has more to do with OBS than with mods, I think, but maybe I'm misreading the situation.)

Hey guys, I know I'm getting annoying by that point, but I'm hoping that if I present my problem here instead of in the general discussion channel, maybe someone who knows how to help will answer me :x
Basically, I can't use the Randomizer mod to create the exact save file I need to create -- it'd be a copy of an old randomized run which I played about 2/3 months ago, but reverted to its starting point with zero progress. The reason why I can't simply use the Randomizer to simply put in the same parameters and seed is because I've tried it, and it doesn't work -- either the game freezes because of the Cursed option, or the modlog shows that the randomization isn't the same one.

So, I've resorted to save file editing, and for a while I thought it was going great! I have all the randomization parameters in there and all. Except that when I open the game, I realize that the items aren't randomized at all. What should I do to link the randomizer's parameters to the rest of the save file?

Someone told me it was feasible but I had no idea the Randomizer still took a part once the save file was created. I mean, I've played randomized runs which remained randomized even when the randomizer mod was disabled, so I assumed that it didn't matter as long as the save file was already created.

When I first installed mods, I was missing a number of achievements, and when I was done using the mods, I verified the game's files to essentially uninstall them because the built-in button to do so wasn't working. Now that I've gotten those achievements and I want to use mods again, for some reason, when I install them, the achievements are still missing in the menu in-game. If I verify the files again, the achievements come back. This is a very trivial thing that's easy to ignore, but I was curious if there was anyway to fix this issue?

I've got a steam version of 1.4.3.2 on my mac. I've downloaded and unzipped the Modinstaller2 from the pin here, and opened it and clicked installed and enabled next to the mod I was going to try (Debug Mod). But when I run the game nothing appears to have changed. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Hey. I just got hold of the Hollow Knight debug software, but for some reason i cant get it to open in game. I understand the hotkey to open up the menu is F1, but that doesn`t respond when pressed. Hi, I'm having trouble working the custom knight mod and I hear this is the best place for help?
I've installed it via the mod installer, and I've followed the instructions in the readme best as I could, moving folders into the mod folder that open up directly to the edited PNGs and such, but when I try to switch skins ingame, the Knight just flashes without changing appearance

Any help would be great!

Did you put the folders in the mods folder or the CustomKnight folder

Heya, I've just installed modhelper and the randomizer mod, but when I try to load a save the camera isnt focused on me, but instead a random geo rock. Any ideas what im doing wrong?
