I've been having trouble with exaltation. After I did the first pantheon, fury of the fallen wasn't glorified, but all of the other ones were. Then, after beating radiant Oro and Mato for steel tempest, I didn't get a message saying that my charm got glorified. I've tried redoing the pantheon, restarting the game, and resting at benches, but nothing seems to work.

Hello, I’m kinda new in playing modded HK. On my old laptop everything worked fine, a bit slow but fine. But now I’ve a serious problem: some buttons don’t react anymore when I play the game with mods. I can’t dash and can’t summon any spells. I also cant open the Menü or end the game, I have those mods installed: daughter of hallownest SKIN mod, benchwarp, custom knight, easy mode, HPBar, infinite notches, modcommon, modcommon006, QOL, randomiser 3 (item or room), seanPRcore

Most of the mods came together with randomiser 3

When I disable QOL, everything’s works fine, but then all mods don’t work anymore. I reinstalled everything And just tried to install Rando 3, the same happened. Any help?

yeah, the problem here i think is that you're using a customknight dll that isn't designed to use sprite sheets that are packed like the DoH one

and the mods folder I wanted was the one with all the actual mods in it

not the customknight folder

Might be wrong chat, but i'm trying to 100% a random item run, i'm almost done, but can't find the shopkeepers key. Is it possible it was loaded in as one of the items that can only be acquired once the key is delivered? So impossible to get. I've even looked up where all the relics were placed to make sure id gone to all those spots but no luck. All im missing is that and like 3 charms and 1 grub

What is the easiest way to change the color of the knight's cloak?

I have the custom knight mod installed and i found some free skins but i was specifically looking for either a way to make the cloak green, or an easy way to add accessories to the knight

You'd have to make edits to the sprite yourself, as I don't know of any "easy" way to edit the colors or give add-ons to the knight's appearance. There are the vanilla sprites in the custom knight google drive, just open them up in an art program and do the work there

I have the vanilla sprites open in an editing software I just wasn't sure how to do the editing

I just draw over the sprites on another layer with what I'd like to add to them. For recoloring, you can clip a layer to the initial sprite layer and lower opacity to change the color without messing up the lines. Good luck!

when i make recolors i just use a desaturated spritesheet, duplicate the layer, turn on alpha for the new layer, and paint over it in the new color using color mode

sometimes the saturation gets a bit messed up, notably the eyes in shade animations, but for the most part it works fine and you usually don't notice the difference in game

i wanted a separate download of cp for modinstaller so i just copied whole steam hollow knight folder. perhaps it loads the original, and then doesn't load mods or even modinstaller. could that be it?

in that case i'd have to manually "downpatch" to 1432 via code

hey guys, when I go into the game and click start, the files don't load. When I verify the integrity of game files, it removes the mod files.
