if you've tried everything including clean install of game, clean install of modinstaller, only using enemy rando and nothing else, erasing HK system memory, etc.... then I can't help you

It's trying to use C: when steam is in E:, and i can't completely remember how i figured out it's using the wrong path but i know it is.

Nope, an error and if i continue it's only the mod installer but gray and no mods to install. The only button on it is the manual button in the top left corner.

Does anyone know if there exist a mod which can give

infinite energy
high jump (which I can enable for jumping on mushrooms)
spikes does no damage

I have put 100+ hours into HK and still only got the bad ending, and at this point I just want to have fun being over powered and see if I can get 112%. I am exceeding bad at pogo jumping, as in I can't do it...

When making multiple installs, whatever Hollow Knight file I run, it always runs the original install. Is there any way to fix this. I'm using Steam and suspect that is causing the problem.

@wraith pond When you load up the game, on the main menu there is a loading button for the Enemy Randomizer in the top left corner. Click it and wait for the loading to finish (it will display a percentage loaded). Your enemies will then be randomized. You need to do this whenever you relaunch the game.

I have the v.1.0 version of the Hollow Point mod, but it didn't worked well, sometimes the projectiles disappeared and everything is really inconsistent. I wanted to install the last version of this mod but I don't know how, I don't find any "How to install" in all Readme I have found. I installed it at the first place with Hollow knight mod installer but the 1.0 version of the Hollow Point mod is meh unless I miss something.

I had it from a site but I just downloaded the one offered by the discord bot my modding Api is currently V.1.4.3.2-53

I had problems with Hollow Point mod, when I was on the ground the bullets drained souls but had no effect. Idk how I debugged it but now it works. I think charging the nail and striking did the job don't ask me why because I don't even know 😛

Everything worked fine except for the bug I just listed but strangely enough charging the nail and striking made my AK-47 bullets shooting while on ground as it should and as I seen on videos on youtube. Before that the bullets just did nothing and souls were drained for no reason and bullets only appeared and dealt damage when I was in the air.

I had problems with Hollow Point mod, when I was on the ground the bullets drained souls but had no effect. Idk how I debugged it but now it works. I think charging the nail and striking did the job don't ask me why because I don't even know 😛

If you don't want to use an installer, or if you prefer a more textual guide, please follow this easy and simple step-by-step guide. (This is assuming you have a Windows system. Check the File Paths in the pins if you are using a Mac.)

Make sure your Hollow Knight version is up to date.

Download all the mods you need from the Google Drive. You need the Modding API first and foremost, together with the API mod of your choosing (also found there). MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD FOR THE CURRENT VERSION OF THE GAME WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD THE MODS. (current version: 1.4.2.4)

Locate your Hollow Knight data folder. (Usually found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hollow Knight

Merge the folders from the download (hollow_knight_Data) with the mods you just downloaded. A simple drag and drop should work, the folder names just have to match up.

Make sure \Hollow Knight\hollow_knight_Data\Managed\Mods exists and has the mod .dll of the mod you want to download. If not, place it in there. It should just be there as a .dll and not as a folder.

Boot up the game and see if in the top left corner, mod information is displayed (just a name and a version number). If not, verify game integrity (Right-click on the game on Steam, click Properties, go to the Local Files tab and press Verify integrity of game files.) and install the Modding API again as shown in Step 3.

The enemy randomizer loading freeze is a known issue that is on the list of things to look into for a future version. There are some troubleshooting steps in one of the pins that may help in the meantime.

Yeah. Crash error log says ollow_knight.exe caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)

if you’ve previously pirated before, you need to go to appdata/local and delete the ModInstaller folder, then run the program again

I'm having trouble getting the launcher working. I authorized it to download mono, but it doesn't seem to do anything afterwards and closes. When I open it again, it simply repeats the request to download mono again. What should I do?

well if it were just "oh it's slow" i wouldn't worry

but what seems to happen is, the game continues to run at relatively normal speed, but the graphics stop updating

#

so for instance, by "feeling my way around" and listening to the sounds i can still load up a file and play the game, but the graphics are still stuck on the menu saying "loading progress: 88%"
