I was trying to install mods, and they installed correctly and stuff but then it made the game act crazy and crashed the game. Anyways I go back launch HK again and all data is gone and nothing works because I can't even start a new save file.

It completely broke the game, I couldn't play it at all, luckily I was able to restore my steam files and the game went back to normal

So I'm unsure what the hell happened and what I did wrong for the mods to break the game so badly.

Hi, I just joined the server and I have an issue with modding. I downloaded the ModInstaller on radiance website, installed it in my game folder and launched the game. Everything works great. I try to enable some mods, NOT everything work great. My game is ONLY in cyrillic font, Chinese, Japanese, Russian .... No more French (as I am French) or English or Spanish ...
I tried to enable one by one and it seems like it's the mod called " "Art" mods" which cause the issue. Now my question, is there a way to enable french along the mod or I should just leave it behind and find something else ? ^^

I can't speak to compatibility, but charm notch cost is completely controlled by data in the save file. You could probably start a save on Charm Overhaul and add Lightbringer, or even edit the save yourself to get the costs you want

I am trying to install the poorly translated mod using the hollow knight mod installer, the mod installer let me install every other mod except when poorly translated finishes downloading I get an end of central directory not found error. I checked the mods folder and there is a poorly translated.zip and when i try to extract it says there is nothing inside. Everything else is working fine its just this mod.

@hardy beacon I tried this morning by running as administrator and it worked, so either the issue solved itself with time or it was because I tried running it as administrator. I'd assume its just some random issue with your computer so try messing around with it for a bit and see if it works

Can't access Randomizer, so asking here: I'm trying to boot up the RandomizerTracker in the pinned messages there. It gives me a blue circle mouse like it's loading, then stops and nothing happens. Is it broken or am I doing something wrong?

Are you playing on area or room randomizer? The tracker is made for mapping.
It could work for item randomizer, in theory, but I don't think I implemented it for that.

if you reinstalled the mod with the installer, it would have overwritten what you put in that customknight folder

#

so you'll have to put the changed sprites in there again

Been having a strange issue with hollow knight today; wondering if it is due to my mod loadout. When i last saved i had colleced 1 of 3 masks and when i got back on deepnest's mask was back. So i went and collected that mask as well as the one in the city of tears. However when i used my awoken dream nail on both watchers instead of going to their dreams they vanished and all my blue masks disappeared. Anyone encounter this?
