How do i manually install mods? I tried 'Mod Manager' but that just pulled up System32 so i went to the mods folder and put the mod in but nothing is working ;-;

When you download a mod from the drive, it comes in a zip folder. Select manually install mods, then select the zip folder

What would cause my game to not be able to save anymore? Im using benchwarp and randomizer 3, and at a certain point I cant save at new benches anymore, they also do not appear in bench warp.

Yes, mods can be installed on a Mac:
You can use the installer - https://radiance.host/mods/ModInstaller.exe
To run the installer:

Open the Terminal

Type cd $(dirname

Drag the exe onto the Terminal

Type ) then hit Return/Enter

Type mono --arch=32 (Note the space at the end)

Drag the exe onto the Terminal and then hit Return/Enter

If this fails with bash: mono: command not found then:

Install mono here - https://www.mono-project.com/download/stable/#download-mac

Open a new Terminal window

Type/Paste in export PATH=/usr/local/bin:${PATH} and hit Return/Enter

Repeat steps 2-6 above.

hey, ive tried the installer but well, long story short, the installer thinks the game is in the wrong directory so it doesnt install it

Weeeell, I actually had the game cracked and I didn't know it wasn't possible to use the installer on it, so I put the location of my version of the game (which wasn't at the Steam directory, obviously) but now that I finally bought the game I cant set it back

I believe that you have to delete the settings of the modinstaller to do that. Those are found in %Appdata% iirc

Then it will automatically detect the correct path the next time you use the installer

I'm also having problems trying to install Literally Anything? I used the ModInstaller and when it got to "find your installer path" I couldn't because I have it on Games Pass and Microsoft has it saved in a hidden folder (which I can't call from the drop down), and now I'm trying to manually install the API it seems to be getting stuck because Windows knows the Hollow Knight Data file I'm trying to save over is bigger than the original file and is like "aha, cheating! banned!"

ok so i was once again playing with redwing, and i decided to heal up before fighting the soul master. for some strange reason, the fire pillar auto targeted his second phase and killed it before i could even start the fight

- My ModInstaller gives me the error "Unable to download mod list."
+ Delete ModInstaller and download it from the link above. This error occurs in an old version of ModInstaller which was broken by an update.

- My ModInstaller can't find Hollow Knight.
+ The first time you launch ModInstaller, it will prompt you to set the filepath if it can't find the game. If you skipped past the prompt before, you can reset the ModInstaller's settings by deleting the "ModInstaller" folder at %appdata%\..\Local

- How can I remove all mods from my computer?
+ ModInstaller allows you to uninstall mods and remove the Modding API, if originally installed with ModInstaller. Alternatively, you can restore the original game by choosing to Verify Integrity of Game Files in Steam. Once finished, you can simply delete ModInstaller, as it is only an executable.

- I'm trying to install mods on a patch other than 1.4.3.2

Weird bug with benchport, went to basin toll, sat, didn't add the bench. It'd done that a few times before so I wasn't surprised, just went out and sat again, for some reason couldn't get it to activate, decided to die in basin so I'd go to bench... ended up back in pleasure house instead of basin toll bench :/

Yes, it's required. If a sprite sheet doesn't have it, that means it isn't supposed to be changed

The randomiser for me always seems to fail to load properly the first time I load a save after launching the game, and now I've forgotten about this, picked up an item on first load (the godtuner) and upon reloading the save I'm trapped in a black void

I am using the installer, it's randomizer 3, and I'm also using the enemyrandomiser but the black void appears whether I load that or not

#

By "fails to load properly" I mean that room exits lead where they're supposed to (even though I'm using the connected-area room mode), random impassible black rectangles appear in some places, and apparently items fail to randomise too

Hmmm. Those mods probably aren't fully compatible, and enemy randomizer is also a buggy mess

- I am trying to play RANDOMIZER 2 or RANDOMIZER 3, and I get the error "FAILED TO LOAD"
+ Install SereCore using ModInstaller, or off of the Google Drive. This is a library dependency for these mods.

- I am trying to play RANDOMIZER 3, and the game fails to load into King's Pass properly.
+ Check that QoL and Vasi are installed. These are required for randomizer to function properly.

- I am trying to use DEBUGMOD, but I hid the menu and now I can't find it.
+ The default bind to show the menu is F1. Change binds by clicking the white dot next to each command in the "Binds" menu, and then pressing the new key. Reset all binds by deleting "DebugMod.GlobalSettings" in the save file directory.

- I am trying to play any mod, and MY CONTROLLER doesn't work.
+ This is a known issue with the Modding API. The most consistent way to fix this is to unplug the controller before starting the game, and plug it in at the title screen.

Hey, so I've just downloaded the mod installer but hollow knight crashes once it loads every time with no error message. I've downloaded the seanpr mod and randomizer 3 mod and am running the latest version of hollow knight

I'm playing the HK randomizer version 3 (that shuffles everything with the relics as well as the abilities) -- I think I have a seed that can't be completed. Is there somewhere I should report that to?
