So I have a bit of a problem, and can't seem to find anyone with an answer that doesn't cost me more money

I already had before, but my computer crashed entirely and I had to get a new Steam account because my original was locked out. Buying the game again I'm sure buying it again would help the API to work again for me, but I don't have the funds, nor do I agree with paying Steam more money for something that lost me hundreds of dollars worth of games.
