Hey, I downloaded scarab, and have been able to run it previously: however, the new update I installed today had some issues with my antivirus, which threw me off and gave a rather worrying threat alert. Furthermore, I'm having issues with selecting the path for scarab. It says
"Select the folder containing hollow_knight_Data or HollowKnight_Data"
When the folder is selected, it just says invalid path. Any advice?

Alright, more of me playing with mods I don't understand:
(before you ask, i promise i bought the game on steam, this copy is legit)
After trying out the hollowpoint/gun mod and uninstalling it, i noticed that i focus really, really fast, and spend roughly half the soul normally needed. My belief is that when you uninstall the hollowpoint mod it doesn't fix the focus time and soul cost. How do I fix this?

Thus you should get it from the pins

And install it manually

I found the solution: I had a Mod installed for randomizing Ori and the will of the wisps. Both Mod Installers didn't like each other and blocked the other from using. i uninstalled the Ori Mod and now it worked fine. Thats why i got the message for an outdated Mod^^

you need to download scarab installer which is in pinned comments, after you install it you extract it to where ever you want and starts the scarab.exe, it will ask you if the folder is the right one for hollow knight if yes just press ´yes´ and a tab with mod will open if it is not the folder you have hollow knight in just find it in your files

also some mods you gonna install will require another mod soo you need to download the second one before the main

To update a mod click the orange arrow that appear near its name. Scarab is supposed to tell you when a an update is released, but you can just download it again to make sure you have the latest version

not all the skins change those. The only sprites changed in each skin are the ones the artist chose to change. So if a sprite sheet isn't there, the artist didn't draw it.

The issue appears to be nail upgrades randoplus adds locations that need pale ore, rando removes the pale ore (replacing it with 1 geo) and then rando gets confused as to how you can buy things from the nailsmith without pale ore

Hey, I'm having trouble with the Custom Knight mod. It worked okay, until suddenly something weird happened - the skins equipped started differing from the skins I selected. 1. The skin isnt inside of the custom knight folder, its on downloads so thats one of the reasons it doesnt work
2. You have extra folders, the pictures should be on Rainy Knight (by megav) and not on Rainy Knight (by megav)/Rainy Knight/ Rainy knight v1
