I was figuring to get ||Shade soul to make soul Master easier, since it was a pretty handy spell||

Hm... well, the strategy I went for was to focus on removing the minions first and only afterwards trying to go in for an attack. If I saw him prepare to ||dash attack||, I'd use ||Monarch Wings|| to jump up and get a few hits in on the way down by ||pogoing||.
