Here's probably the safest ||Markoth|| recording I have, (if you replace phase 2 with ||shade soul during his shield spin||): ||#hk-help message||

||For the fight mainly focus on nailarts.
Pretty much always just have a nail art charged and wait for him to approach you so don't chase him around. A great slash has enough range to hit through his shield if necessary. It also has a bit of a delay so usually release the button a bit earlier than you'd think.
If he gets too close don't be greedy but just move to a different platform and then wait there.
You can also use dash slashs if you have more space and the boss is far away (usually at the top of the arena).
For the first phase don't use your soul but save it so don't use any spells.
In the second phase wait for the right moment (anything safe works but shield spinning phase is usually best) to then use all of your soul in form of shade souls. Try to get as many double hits as possible. He should be pretty low at that point so just use nailarts again just like the first phase for the rest. Of course now you can use spells whenever you have the soul for it.
I don't recommend using abyss shriek though since it's pretty risky

For charms I recommend shaman stone, spell twister, soul catcher, nailmaster's glory, heavy blow, soul eater||

If they use the slam attack u can use 2 attack
