kept struggling on pv and absrad so i practiced enough to beat pv on radiant and absrad on ascended
proceeded to die to no eyes, tried again, died to traitor lord, tried again, and then died to failed champion, then nkg before i finally got to pv again||

If you buy one of the charm notches you will have 4 instead, one more. If you buy all 4 you'll have 4 more, so 7. There is a price difference between them because you unlock the more expensive ones later on. They aren't "better" than the cheaper ones.

Either way buy every notch that you can. Notches are some of the best things to buy in this game||

However try not to get too used to it since it's not really worth the cost and gets overshadowed pretty quickly by much better charms for the cost that actually help you deal more damage. So as an early game option it's nice but later on try to use different charms instead. Even tho most people still love it later it's not very good||

||Pretty bad as well. For smaller enemies it can be nice however by killing the enemies just after they hit you it gets rid of your chance to get back soul to heal the hp you just lost. It also does nothing against ranged enemies except reduce your invincibility frames which also makes it bad for bosses||

||for exploration you can pretty much use anything that's convenient. So compass, gathering swarm, dashmaster and catcher for example would be an option. Alternatively something with mark of pride can be nice however that might lead to you getting too attached to that charm which isn't good.

For bosses or harder enemies this early on spells are your best friend. So soul charms like soul catcher and spell twister for both healing and damage are awesome. Additionally once you have the money buying quick focus or shaman stone at the charm shop would be good. Shaman stone is superior in most situations but quick focus is great as well.||

for their attack ||you can either dash through them with good timing or dash/walk away. They always attack in the same "rhythm" so it's not purely random. Just try to get in a few hits or a nailart in between each attack but then retreat again to avoid the attack||

||For his bird attack(not flame spawner) you can use shap of unn to just go under them, you need 66 soul though, maybe you can just have 33 with deep focus?
But for the flame spawner try not to dash unless you have to, and make sure you're in the air when you do. If you're on the ground you'll Dash right into the next ball
If you accidentally dash towards nkg when he's about to slash, if you don't have time to dash back away then pogo him and keep moving, you should just dodge his jump. But save your dash after the pogo for the flames||

How the hell did you get that much geo
For ||colo|| your main objective should be to one shot everything
So using ||nail arts and spells is a must, so you put on shaman stone, as for the remaining notches it depends, grubsong is amazing in colo, dreamwielder while it may seem niche can let you get back up to full soul by farming the last enemy of any given wave, mark of pride can be good, as is every other soul gathering charm (spell twister, soul catcher…)
