Alas, modinstaller does not ever redownload the readme unless you uninstall the mod, so updating would be pointless.
I also learned yesterday that if you install mods, verify files, and relaunch the installer, it does not reinstall the api until you manually delete the MOD file, or whatever

It would be nice to be able to link new players to the mod, even if it isn't fully featured
It's pretty much good to go for the update. There may still be some pins not quite lined up with their items (though they should all be in the correct room), but for basic features it should be good
Wesker is adding the current updated version to a guide for new players, it sounds like. I'll see about getting everything on it squared away this weekend so it can be added to the Mod Installer (probably as a new entry, since I do not know if it works with the old Rando)

"your assembly csharp" referring to the one from my current hk install?
your assembly should be modded before you do this, which you can do by running the installer or putting the assembly in by hand

I'm sorry if this is annoying or asking too much too fast, but what is the progress on the multiplayer mod, and what are the current plans for it? Is it still just planned to be along the lines of the celeste ghostmod, or are there plans to make enemies share health between different players? If I have any say in the matter, I would say that I prefer the latter, but I completely accept that that is asking a heck of a lot, especially without me actually contributing anything to it. Either way, thank you soo much for working on it.

I just reverted to this because one of my attempts at that resulted in a bunch of dreamshield charms to my list and crashed my game so I had to delete my save

Left = numpad 4 or G

Down = numpad 5 or H
Up = numpad 8 or Y
teleport to player = numpad 7 or 9 or T or U
turn left = numpad 1 or B
turn right = numpad 3 or M
reset rotation = numpad 2 or N
switch between fast/slow(with color change) = numpad 0...

I just used the origenal dreamshield code and modified it so that it could be used in mods
Dunno exactly without checking the fsm
But there's probably a state that activates it that'll have a reference
if you want to just be super inefficient, like me, just loop through all Transform components and check their gameObject for the dreamshield
when they said dreamshield coop, i thought of something like, controlling the spin of the shield
in my version you get to control the rotation, does that count?
when is dream shield coop but it's just a texture mod that makes it into a chicken coop

well you COULD, but what others really use is a C# ide (most common is probably Visual Studio) then compiling it

im still using 2017 but that mostly just because im too lazy to update
