oh, the toggles don't actually update the list of reachable locations, so the randomizer just breaks if you turn off skills. And shops are hard-coded right now, so not randomizing charms fucks up everything.

Ok so the reason linerenderer is drawing tringles is because it tries to reuse points that it's already made if it can, so if the points made for another line roughly line up with where a new line needs to go then it will converge onto those points instead of making new ones for itself
