If I knew how to code for Hollow Knight (and the only version of the game I owned wasn't on Switch) I'd make a mod with a new short Pantheon with the five great knights of Hallownest.
First one: Ogrim. Just the White Defender, but better. Seems a little anticlimactic, but trust me, it gets better. Death animation, he just falls into the...dirt.
Second: Ze'mer. Fought in a Resting Grounds-reminiscent area. Walks really slowly, pattering across the ground, but when she attacks with her nail she moves really far, really fast. She can launch delicate flowers all across the arena that don't do any damage if they hit you, but they stick to you for 30 seconds and if you are damaged in that time you take triple damage. On Radiant Mode the petals instead sap 2 spell's worth of Soul. At 75% HP, she can start shooting scythes like the Mantis Petras. At 50% HP, she fires them with more fury, and at 25% HP, a spectral mantis that looks exactly like the Traitor's Child appears. They are intangible and deal no contact damage, but can fire Petra scythes. Death animation, the Traitor's Child slowly fades from view and Ze'mer falls to the ground, holding a Delicate Flower, weeping.
Third: Hegemol. Fought in a Deepnest-reminiscent area. You might think he's exactly like the Failed Champion, but you'd be wrong. He's far more comfortable with his armor, easily able to cross the arena in just a few seconds and swinging his massive club around with ease without attacking the ground. The only way to gain SOUL in this fight is with the Dream Nail (or any passive Soul granting charms). At 33% HP, the bug falls off the end of his club, decreasing his range slightly. The bug roams around the arena, indestructible, and occasionally firing out volleys of spikes that can travel the distance of half of the arena. In his death animation, he sits down, falls asleep, and you can see a maggot in the Seeker audience slowly moving closer...

Fourth: Dryya. Fought in an area reminiscent of the room where she used to guard the White Lady in Queen's Gardens. As promised in the Kickstarter description, she is a fierce wielder of the nail, with rapid attacks and parries. As she loses HP, her attacks become more and more furious in an attempt to stop you from reaching the White Lady. In her death animation, she falls to the ground in the same pose we see her in in-game, and we see a few intangible Mantis Traitors coming in from the right side of the screen.
Seeker dialogue: These Knights...Do you not recognize them? They are truly some of the most powerful gods in this land - a shame their legacy has not lasted long out there. Here, however, we will honor them for all time to come. Are you truly worthy to join their ranks? Or are you yet powerful enough to rise up from them as their king? Time will tell, but now you will face the greatest of these gods. We will see how you fare.

Finally, Isma. Fought in an arena very similar to the area where you find Isma's Tear, with acid pits and all. Isma attacks by shooting vines from the ground, the ceiling, the walls, even her arms. This may seem random and overpowered, but the vines have quite a long startup time and animation, though they fly very fast once they are unleashed. In addition, she is very flighty, trying her best to dodge you. This fight is surprisingly the easiest of all 5 fights, until you get her to half HP. Then, suddenly, the ground starts to shake, and you all fall through into an overgrown version of the White Defender arena. Oh yeah, we're doing this now. Ogrim flies in from the celing, poses heroically, and now you have to fight both Ogrim and Isma at once. In addition, Isma can now shoot vines out of Ogrim's mid-air projectiles, making her even more dangerous. These bosses do not share a health pool, though good luck killing Isma before Ogrim. If you kill Ogrim first, Isma begins to sob and falls to the ground and you win the Pantheon. If you kill Isma first, however...Ogrim restores his health up to 50% (if you brought him below that already) and enters his enraged phase where he goes underground and keeps jumping out... The only time he stops his fury is to use his complicated attack that was coined by Perpetual Noob as "Defender's Jubilee", though faster. If you can beat him, you earn a special 5th light above the pantheon's door that counts as if you had done a binding for the purpose of any unlocks that require a number of bindings.

You can fight Lost Kin as early as beating Broken Vessel and having the dream nail, so it's really depending on how comfortable you are with the upgrades you got. If you keep losing, you might want to find more stuff.

you'll probably need to either use a cutout shader (can only have transparent and not transparent, no partial)
or a multiple pass, incremently blurring it (slow)

technically you can just use a transparent shader and just enable zwrite on it, but it'll blur anything behind it, aslong as it has > 0 opacity
