Ok the fact is that searching on the web i found a lot of fragmented information, i would like to make a small mod but can't find a clear things about modding, here's my questions:
1 - I read about the modding API, from what i understood it is a dll that replace the base "Assembly-CSharp" inside the game folders and allow it to load other dll placed in a mod folder, correct?
2 - All the mods in that mod folder is made in this way?
3 - I found a site with the api documentaion but is incomplete, how far the modding is possible? My objective would be add/replace an npc sprite with a custom one and add some dialog lines to it.
4 - I'm alredy a programmer, but haven't worked much with C#, visual studio or .net in general, i'm having some trouble setupping the example projects i found online.
