though if you are using spells you can just jump up and then dive
the first jump dodges the fake dash and the dive takes care of the real one

I found not trying to pogo it worked for me. Double jump lets you position for it or use a wall until it ends.
If it switches to triple slash then pogo for sure.

I try for 1-2 swing then dash out. I try to watch for the triple slash or lunge as should be safe walking or dashing away.
But a bad combo is possible.

I found that if you do a low double jump after pogoing, you'll land on the ground and it'll transition to a plunge attack

You should also be able to shade dash away as you see the jump start. You'll avoid it and can do another pogo. Sometimes he does a huge leap to the other side of the room and you'll be hit by it but that's rare.
Just don't stay high up on a wall for long.
