Scorched Contract is probably one of the coolest mods I've ever seen for a game ever

@ember bloom I would do a S&S rebalance if I wasn't so lazy and if there were damage hooks which there might very well be. my idea is to make all weapons scale by an amount based ONLY on their dex/str ranks, but to make up for not using base damage as a scaling factor anymore, boost the base damage on all weapons by a set amount

so S rank Str/dex weapons all scale by the same amount relative to your strength or dex. and not by the same amount but then multiplied by the base damage

cuz the way it is now, a D rank weapon with very very high base dmg scales better than an S rank one with very low base dmg

which is absolutely shitty and misleading design imo
