I tried out the mantis gods mod in the mod generator, but I was disappointed as I didn't notice any difference, even with the hell mod on
lost lord, mantis gods. There's also infinite grimm featuring the world famous nightmare god grimm, as well as just infinite grimm in general
uh if you didn't notice a difference either it wasn't working properly or you didn't install it properly
I think mantis gods is only in fungal wastes

I think it's the hardest boss for this challenge. Just trying not to get hit and at the same time hit him AND he has a giant amount of HP -_-
You just end up getting hit by something if you aren't wave clearing the room.
Which in turn is hard because you only have one spell... I'm just venting at this point

to be tbh honest, i thought a bindings gamemode would be way cooler than the current godmaster gamemode

but to use the bindings to make a separate gamemode; something that you're stuck with fighting all bosses with regularly and permanently (also in pantheons) would be a real challenge
that's my 2 cents though

There already ARE mods for this kind of thing but they're broken at the moment.
Hellmod's half-broke and Bindings barely functions at all current patch, I believe
hell mod seems like the more interesting of the 2, though. The big "problem" with bindings all game is it makes mask and vessel shards 100% pointless to track down that playthrough. Charms, too. Hell Mod has similar effects but twisted in just such a way that it's worthwhile to find crap.
Which is also my reminder to @copper nacelle and beg for updates if they've not already happened

honestly one of the only times where I'd probably would want to go with familiars
half damage ain't that bad. nail binding isn't terribly far off.
hell mod's old nail would be 3 damage, bindings is 4. The gap would widen as you get upgrades but not by too much.
11/13 would be pure nail's split
actually it switches between 2 and 3
so the damage output is even
the biggest problem is the excruciating slow soul recharge and double health
bindings at least cut some slack while hell mod is like
nail and soul bindings plus
also later versions of hell mod removed the ability to upgrade nail
I can't argue from experience because, well, the mod's kinda broke, but I don't see it being THAT bad
also that's stupid and they should revert that.
if you wanna do an old nail hell mod run you can just do an old nail hell mod run, enforcing it is dicks.

i set it up as spell so i dunno if using vengeful spirit on lifeblood seeds not destroy it
again this is just me wanting feed back on the anims, sounds and sprites
im not a fan of reducing the nail attack speed, if you want to encourage the use of guns it would probably be better to make the nail do less damage

what happen is, whenever you have a gun out, i set the speed to like ultra fast, but when youre not it goes back to default
