Honestly, I don't understand how is this easy. Sometimes I jump to dodge one of her attacks and she jumps right into my face, sometimes I simply jump over her head to dodge something and she instantly backsteps and hits me. I mean are there spykes all over her? The controls are sloppy and irresponsive (at least on keyboard+mouse) so I expected that there wouldn't be much need to manage your jump height troughout the game but there is. The needle stab covers almost the entire arena so jumping is the only option most of the times (she does sometimes leave some space to rest safely but its rare) if you go to behind her she will backstep and hit you because her back hurts you even tough it isnt even an attack. Also the is no sense of progression during the fight. My favourite game is dark souls (the 1st one, my pc can't run the 3rd so I have onbly played the 1st and the 2nd Softs version) and that game was challenging but fun and fair. This one is chalenging but unfair. (just in case someone wonders why did I mention dark souls, I did it because im tired of reading comments like "You would hate dark souls then")๏ปฟ

There's not an easy way to do that, but the mod installer allows you to disable mods with a click, so you could install it, then once you're done, use the mod installer to disable it and relaunch

yep, switching on or off will also not damage existing saves in any way
the worst that will happen is that you'll have to rest on the bench a few more times to reglorify charms if the data is lost since it uses info that's tied to vanilla saves to determine that

The installer has a whole bunch of mods hosted on it; you just need to hit install for exaltation https://radiance.host/mods/ModInstaller.exe
it also requires ModCommon to function, which is a library mod, but I think it's enabled by default

GOD I am loving stoneshell. This is gimmicky and probably not actually that great in the end but using it like a parry is just interesting enough that I'm having a blast with it

a big goal of mine while making exaltation was to make useless charms or ones that have a really specific niche be more usable
giving baldur shell more uses with careful play, making womb a viable source of damage, that kind of thing
sagesoul is probably the best enabler of gimmick builds due to the soul regen

Yeah, the thing kinda is even with the upgrades so many of the charms still aren't... good. In a world where your mod was official content, I don't see womb OR baldur being suddenly top tier stuff that get recommended around the community, they still kinda "suck" on account of not being fragile strength or shaman stone.
Joni's may see a mild resurgence even if for the one singular use of tanking absrad a bit more

@fair rampart I have an idea for that fabled Heavy Blow upgrade. What if it made nail strikes pierce invulnerablity? For example, watcher knights, when curled up tink the nail but take spells just fine, the heavy blow glorification could make it so the nail also does damage instead of parrying off.
