I was thinking of making it tied to defeating a boss in the HoG and then when you finish it the game checks and then removes your having beaten it to swap it out

tbh, having multiple glorifications of the same charm probably isn't a good idea in the end. Might be for the best to either just scrap one of the variants, or implement the other into a different charm somehow.
